Highly Qualified IB/A Level Science and Maths Instructor

We are seeking a qualified educator to teach Science and Maths at the IB/A Level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver high-quality curriculum lessons in Math, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology for students at both Standard and Higher Levels.
  • Design engaging lesson plans that align with the IB/A level philosophy, focusing on inquiry-based learning and real-world applications.
  • Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and exams, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities across subjects.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and continuous learning opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification and/or IB A level certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience teaching Math, Physics, and Chemistry within the IB/A Level framework.
  • Strong understanding of IB curriculum, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources to enhance classroom instruction.
  • Ability to foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
