About the RoleThe Strategic Financial Accounting Leader will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting functions of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and implementing processes to improve efficiency and internal controls.
You will work closely with our finance team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with our business objectives, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on our organization's financial performance.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
- Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability and reduce costs;
- Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to meet business needs;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax laws and accounting standards;
- Lead the finance team in implementing process improvements and optimizing financial operations;
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders;
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement;
- Provide financial guidance and support to business units and departments;
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement business strategies;
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and leadership roles;
- Professional certifications such as CA or ACCA;
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports;
- Experience with financial systems, software, and technology;
- Fluency in English language;
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
S$120,000 - S$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
