About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and maintenance for our computer systems, servers, networks, and IT assets.
You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of our infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and wants to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor computer systems, servers (virtual and premise machines), networks, and IT assets list.
- Helpdesk support to end users, including laptop, desktop, printers, internet connection.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.
- Maintain and update user information in Active Directory.
- Manage and monitor service contracts with vendors.
- Cybersecurity measures, including CrowdStrike, SecPod, and FortiGate.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary education in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Desktop/Helpdesk support, Infrastructure, or network management.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous, and well-organized with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting/changing priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
