Software Systems Architect Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer with expertise in designing and developing cutting-edge embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of system architecture, software development, and microprocessors.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of advanced embedded systems from concept to finished product. They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of complex embedded systems, integrating hardware and software components.
  • Develop comprehensive system specifications and design documents, including programming languages and firmware drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software and hardware components.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers, guiding them through the development process.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design, code, and test plans, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in embedded systems and incorporate cutting-edge technologies into designs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics Systems, or a related field.
  • Over 20 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a strong focus on system architecture and design.
  • Extensive knowledge of programming languages, including C, C++, Python, and other relevant languages.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems (OS), real-time operating systems (RTOS), and non-OS programming.
  • Deep understanding of microprocessors (ARM A-Core) and microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and neural processing would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces like RS232, Ethernet LAN, CAN Bus, I2C, I2S etc.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, to mentor team members.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in embedded systems design and development.
