Job Description:

Foster academic growth and support students in reaching their potential by delivering engaging lessons, providing personalized feedback and assessments, and staying up-to-date with the latest curriculum developments. Play a key role in shaping students' success in exams and supporting them in preparing for university admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in both English and Economics, aligning with the IB/A-Level curriculum.
  • Feedback and Assessments: Provide personalized feedback and assessments to track student progress.
  • Learning Environment: Foster a learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and active participation.
  • Exam Preparation: Assist students in preparing for exams, including internal assessments, essays, and case studies.
  • Tutoring: Support students with personalized learning plans and additional tutoring as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in English, Economics, or a related field. (Postgraduate qualifications or teaching certificates are a plus.)
  • IB/A-Level Curriculum: In-depth knowledge of IB or A-Level curriculum, with prior experience teaching these subjects preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
