Job Overview

The Trade Compliance Standards Lead will be responsible for implementing regional trade compliance policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on evolving and existing import and export trade regulations to support business growth
  • Maintain and update regional processes related to internal and external changes and new regulations to ensure seamless compliance
  • Support the implementation of import and export data and technology solutions across regions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Develop and govern regional third-party providers per global process and scorecards to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor and execute metrics for measuring compliance and operational performance to inform strategic decision-making
  • Identify capability gaps to improve efficiency and develop strategies to address them
  • Build strong partnerships with affiliate/regional/global teams to scout business opportunities and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Ensure effective integration of global trade compliance processes and standards within region
  • Provide process support to local Trade Compliance teams to facilitate their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Trade Compliance projects, programs, or initiatives ensuring new standards are understood and deployed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 6 Years of Work Experience in a similar role
  • Proven expertise in the application of trade and customs regulations to a global enterprise
  • Prior experience with global trade management systems such as SAP GTS, E2Open or similar systems is preferred
  • Experience developing processes and measuring trade compliance KPIs and metrics to track success of different TC programs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with teams across business functions and regions
