Job Description:

  • Lead the Payments Team responsible for all aspects of payments processing application portfolio.
  • Define payments technology roadmap to support business strategies and objectives.
  • Deliver IT solutions and enhancements ensuring highly available and scalable system capabilities.
  • Manage risk and security aspects of application portfolio.
  • Transform payments processing platforms over the next few years.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and integrate cash payments platforms.
  2. Build and lead a team of analysts to implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  3. Define and manage technical solutions from design through to code level.
  4. Manage 3rd party product vendors and integration partners.
  5. Provide hands-on guidance to the team on functional and technical issues.
  6. Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  7. Lead cross-team improvement initiatives relating to agile methods and project management.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in functional hands-on experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Good experience around requirement analysis and design definition.
  • Technologist with interest in new architectures and programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries, UNIX/Shell scripting and BI tools.
  • Experience in implementing large scale database related applications.
  • Good understanding of software development cycle methodologies.
  • 10+ years of experience managing third-party product vendor relationships and offshore development teams.
  • 10+ years of experience at a manager level or above delivering global IT capabilities.
  • Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical and synthesis skills.
