The Senior Director of Orange Movement will provide strategic vision and entrepreneurial drive to expand the movement's reach, resources, and influence globally.

  • Build cross-functional teams within IIX and across global partners
  • Push forward Orange Capital transactions across markets
  • Spearhead training and market-building initiatives like the Orange Bond Verifier Training to embed Orange standards globally

This position is ideal for a visionary leader with deep networks across finance, philanthropy, and development.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnerships & Global Alliances
  • Develop and execute a global strategy to expand the Orange Investor Alliance and Partner Coalition
  • Engage institutional investors, corporates, philanthropies, and governments to channel capital through Orange
Capital Mobilization & Market Growth
  • Drive the pipeline of Orange Capital transactions across multiple markets
  • Ensure through partnership and advocacy that Orange Bonds are replicated globally, creating demonstration effects and new investor classes
Training & Market Building
  • Lead the Orange Bond Verifier Training program and similar certification tracks
  • Expand training offerings for investors, regulators, and issuers to build global confidence in Orange instruments
Organizational & Ecosystem Leadership
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering entrepreneurial, cross-functional collaboration
  • Act as Secretariat for the Steering Committee and Working Groups
Advocacy, Convenings & Thought Leadership
  • Lead global convenings and campaigns that place Orange Financing at the center of global finance dialogues
  • Publish research, thought leadership, and storytelling that amplify Orange's influence

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's required; MBA/Master's preferred
  • Experience: 15+ years in strategic partnerships, capital markets, fundraising, or senior leadership roles in finance, philanthropy, or development
  • Expertise: Proven track record in capital mobilization, impact finance, or climate/gender initiatives
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams
  • Networks: Deep connections with DFIs, investors, corporates, multilaterals, and donors
  • Skills: Exceptional fundraising, partnership-building, and strategic execution skills
  • Mindset: Visionary, entrepreneurial, and resilient—able to push system-level change
