Senior Financial Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires a high degree of financial acumen, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As a Senior Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards (e.g. IFRS/GAAP). You will also oversee the full financial cycle including accounts receivable and payable, and all accounting processes. Additionally, you will handle financial analysis and reporting tasks, and provide support to management on financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Conduct financial analysis and make recommendations to improve financial performance.
3. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure smooth financial operations.
5. Provide financial guidance and support to management on strategic decisions.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
2. At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
3. Strong knowledge of financial software and systems, such as ERP and GST.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
