Senior VAPT & Penetration Testing Specialist

You are a highly experienced senior-level professional responsible for leading and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing operations.

  • Conduct in-depth assessments on various platforms using industry-standard tools, simulating cyber-attacks, verifying technical deliverables, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with clients and internal teams.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on web, mobile, network, API, and cloud infrastructure using manual and automated methods.

This involves utilizing tools like SQLMap, Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, and custom scripts to identify system vulnerabilities and simulate cyber-attacks such as DDoS, Brute Force, XSS, SQL Injection, and Social Engineering.

Ensure alignment with industry standards like OWASP, PTES, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIST, and provide detailed, risk-rated reports.

As a technical lead, you will be responsible for identifying process improvements, preparing documentation and reports, mentoring junior team members, and staying updated on emerging threats and tools.

Strong communication skills are essential for client interactions and presenting findings in client meetings.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in VAPT and penetration testing
  • Proficiency in secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Qualys, and Kali Linux
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR tools is a plus
Preferred Skills:
  • Report writing and documentation skills
  • Certifications like OSCP, CEH, CREST, GPEN, GWAPT, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule on a standard UK shift. The work location is in person.
