Warehouse Team Lead

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Lead to oversee the smooth daily operations of our warehouse. This role requires exceptional leadership and management skills, as well as strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 5-6 warehouse assistants to ensure seamless workflow and optimal productivity.
  • Oversee the receiving, checking, sorting, and proper storage of incoming goods (parts and supplies) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of items for delivery, while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Manage stock accuracy and maintain inventory records and locations with precision.
  • Coordinate returned goods processing and communicate effectively with relevant departments.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment at all times.
  • Assist with stock-taking and general warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Work closely with suppliers and forwarders to arrange shipments efficiently.
  • Prepare shipping/freight-forwarding documentation accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enforce company procedures and safety guidelines among team members, providing guidance, training, and motivation when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experienced in operating forklift trucks, preferably.
