Construction Procurement Specialist

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Executive to join our team in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suitable suppliers for construction materials, consumables, and services, thereby optimizing project costs and schedules.
- Request for Quotation (RFQ): Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and conduct price negotiations with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Purchase Order Management: Raise and manage purchase orders in line with project and production schedules to ensure smooth supply chain operations and minimize delays.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist in material forecasting to avoid shortages or excess, and maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures, and support internal and external audits by providing relevant procurement documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction, precast, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or procurement software.
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
