Job Title: Construction Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit tender/quotation documents on time with accurate cost estimation.
  • Source suppliers and sub-contractors, evaluate price comparison, and create a costing summary.
  • Process Monthly Progress Claims and Payment Responses to clients and sub-contractors, including project administration and documentation.
  • Draft contracts for sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Participate in sourcing activities based on operational needs.
  • Manage daily Purchase Order administration.
  • Coordinate project procurement and cost control reporting, PO award, and PO administration until final delivery and close-out.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost savings opportunities.
  • Handle office administrative matters and prepare quotations and variation orders.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with the project team, customers, consultants, and sub-contractors.
  • Assist in tracking approvals during submission stages to ensure compliance with government authorities.
  • Conduct site measurements when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or superiors.
  • Requirements:
    • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
    • At least one year of experience in M&E QS in the building construction industry.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Independent, committed, reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
