The Regional Sustainability Manager will oversee the development and implementation of projects and initiatives aligned to environmental sustainability management program and compliance reporting for industrial facilities in APAC.

Key roles include:

  • Acting as a key contact for environmental sustainability management lead to implement sustainability initiatives effectively. Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of in-scope environmental sustainability activities.
  • Responsible for successful development and delivery of all activities related to assigned environmental data collection and compliance with environmental management system (ISO 14001).
  • Manage energy, water, and waste data collection process within technology platform and produce periodic reports tailored to meet client requirements.
  • Manage periodic reporting of environmental compliance data including general, chemical, toxic, and hazardous wastes based on mandatory industrial waste management practices.
  • Deliver targeted reductions in water, waste, and energy in line with service delivery requirements.
  • Drive operational improvements by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve environmental sustainability performance.
  • Engage with facility managers to provide advice on all aspects of environmental sustainability and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

University qualified in Environmental Engineering or Science with minimum 5-year industry experience ideally working in environmental sustainability in industrial built environment.

  • Experience reviewing and refining technical and commercial aspects of sustainability initiatives in built environment preferably in Facilities Management and Construction.
  • Strong environmental compliance and knowledge for industrial plant and facilities.
  • Strong project planning and environmental management skills with ability to deliver outcomes, prioritize, and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience improving systems and processes to deliver best practice sustainability performance using environmental management systems for monitoring and/or reporting purposes.
  • Ability to think strategically and engage with range of stakeholders.
