Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Printing Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our printing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating printing staff, monitoring production schedules, inspecting printed materials, maintaining and troubleshooting printing equipment, training new staff, collaborating with other departments, managing inventory, and preparing reports on production output and staff performance.

  • Supervise and coordinate printing staff across all shifts.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of print jobs.
  • Inspect printed materials to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment to reduce downtime.
  • Train new staff on printing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Manage inventory of printing supplies and initiate orders when necessary.
  • Prepare reports on production output, quality issues, and staff performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Supervisor or Section Head in a printing plant, or at least 5 years as a Senior Operator in sheetfed printing. Strong knowledge of prepress-to-print workflow is mandatory, and proficiency in operating common sheetfed printing press brands such as Mitsubishi, Ryobi MHI, Heidelberg, ManRoland, KBA, and Komori is highly desirable. Willingness to work shifts is also essential.
