Job Title: Print Production Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Print Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our printing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of printing staff across shifts to ensure timely completion of print jobs.
  • Monitor production schedules and maintain high-quality standards for printed materials.
  • Inspect printed products for quality assurance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Train new employees on printing processes, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain inventory of printing supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Implement and enforce safety and cleanliness standards in the printing area.
  • Prepare reports on production output, quality issues, and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as a supervisor or section head in a printing plant or at least 5 years' experience working as a lead/senior operator in sheetfed printing.
  • Strong knowledge of prepress to print workflow is essential.
  • Familiarity with operating common sheetfed printing press brands such as Mitsubishi, Ryobi MHI, Heidelberg, ManRoland, KBA, and Komori.
  • Experience managing Forgra PSO certification or possession of a G7 certificate is advantageous.
  • Able to work shift hours.
