French Teacher for International School

We are seeking a skilled and experienced French teacher to join our team at an international school in Singapore.

  • This is a part-time position teaching French-speaking students from kindergarten to primary school levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

About the Role:

This role involves teaching French language and curriculum to a class of students, working collaboratively with other teachers to plan and implement lesson plans, and monitoring student progress and reporting to parents.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach French language and curriculum to students from kindergarten to primary school levels.
  2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  3. Work closely with other teachers to plan and implement programs that promote student learning and well-being.
  4. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
  5. Contribute to the development of a special pedagogical project across the school.
  6. Supervise morning breaks and afternoon breaks as scheduled.
  7. Attend team meetings as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a teacher, preferably in a multilingual environment.
  • Fluency in French and English languages.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
