The Singapore Judicial College is a premier institution for judicial education and training. We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our research initiatives in judicial education.
As the Director of Institute of Judicial Studies, you will be responsible for driving our research agenda and collaborating with experts across various disciplines to advance our understanding of the justice system.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly qualified professional to take on this challenging role. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent research skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and implementing research priorities and strategic plans
- Leveraging interdisciplinary research collaborations to drive innovation in judicial education
- Publishing research outputs in top-tier journals and platforms
- Designing and delivering research-led judicial training programs
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Professional law degree (Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor)
- Postgraduate qualification in law preferred
- At least 15 years of experience in high-quality academic research, research leadership, and collaboration
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
