Digital Learning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to deliver high-quality training to internal teams, partners, and end-users. The ideal candidate must have a background in IT systems and applications and preferably hold certifications such as MCT or ACLP. This role includes instructional delivery and content development, with an emphasis on technical accuracy and improvement.

About the Role

  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual classroom training on a regular schedule.
  • Work closely with key vendors to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs.
  • Provide technically relevant instruction, assessment, and feedback in lecture and hands-on lab environments.
  • Prepare comprehensive course syllabus, ensuring all learning objectives are clearly defined.
  • Design, update, and maintain all instructional materials, including manuals, presentations, and training content.
  • Utilize training technologies such as video conferencing, distance learning platforms, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and IT practices.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Instructor, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software, productivity tools, and IT systems.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Certifications such as MCT or ACLP, and vendor certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with e-learning tools and LMS is an advantage.
