Technical Support Specialist

The primary role of this position is to provide expert technical assistance and support to clients across various sectors. This involves delivering high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations, while ensuring seamless project execution.

To achieve this goal, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with sales teams to identify client needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Providing in-depth technical consultation and advice to ensure accurate system configurations and quotations.
  • Developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of internal teams.
  • Offering timely and effective post-sales support to clients, addressing any technical queries or concerns promptly.

In order to succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT, security hardware, networks, and databases. Prior experience in technical presales is highly desirable, as is a proven track record of effective communication and problem-solving skills. A customer service-oriented mindset and proactive approach are essential for delivering exceptional results and meeting customer expectations.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in security, electronics, or small-scale electronic project implementation and commissioning is required. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are also essential for success in this role. The ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and customers is vital for delivering exceptional results and meeting customer expectations.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in security, electronics, or small-scale electronic project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, networks, and databases, ensuring a strong foundation for technical discussions and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with security systems (access control, CCTV, alarm systems) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in technical presales is highly preferred, showcasing your ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role, requiring you to work closely with cross-functional teams and customers.
