Job Description

This Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering our construction projects to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining quotations and negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Liaising with project teams, consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to perform quantity surveying works efficiently
  • Reviewing main contract documents to advise on minimizing main contract risk
  • Providing cost estimates and preparing claims for variations, progress, and final accounts
  • Procuring sub-contractors, suppliers, and specialists, and formalizing agreements promptly
  • Measuring quantities, taking off, and preparing claims for variations, progress, and final accounts

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree or diploma in building or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in building construction, preferably in a full QS role on large-scale projects
  • Familiarity with Form of Contract (Redas, SIA, and/or PSSCOC) and SOP Act
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
