Job Title: Senior Construction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding Tender Documents:
    • Analyzing tender documents to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Collaborative Planning:
    • Defining the scope of work and creating collaborative plans with stakeholders.
  • Timely Completion:
    • Maintaining timelines and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.
  • Tender Activities Management:
    • Managing tender activities, including measuring quantities, collecting quotations, and comparing costs.
  • General Duties:
    • Reviewing quotations with specifications, checking quantities, and preparing tender prices.
    • Proofreading tender responses to highlight areas for incorporation and issuance to stakeholders.
    • Negotiating prices with subcontractors and partners.
    • Reviewing cost impacts (Value Engineering proposals/ Variations).
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Possess a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Singapore's building construction industry with a main contractor preferred.
    • Experience in tendering work.
    • Sound computer literacy, including advanced skills in Excel. Proficiency in Cubicost Glodon is a plus.
