Technical Infrastructure Specialist

This is a challenging role that involves building and integrating technical systems with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing system architectures, developing infrastructure solutions, and resolving issues that arise during installation.
The job requires collaboration with customers to clarify technical details. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting technical manuals, creating diagrams, conducting site surveys, and coordinating with contractors to ensure timely project completion.
Your responsibilities will include supervising teams of subcontractors, drafting cabling installation diagrams, and performing maintenance on existing equipment or facilities to ensure proper operation.
You will work closely with the Project Manager to generate daily and monthly progress reports, conduct testing and commissioning after successful implementation, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in installing or designing electrical and communication infrastructures
- Ability to prepare, draw, and update single-line diagrams
- Experience in LTA railway-related projects and knowledge of communication systems is an asset
