Oil Market Analyst
At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Oil Market Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting market trends, as well as developing strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop models for dynamic analysis of physical supply/demand balances for various products.
- Prepare regular market reports on price action, margins, spreads, forward markets, and main market drivers.
- Formulate and recommend trade ideas based on overall analysis insights.
- Innovate and develop new angles/approaches and/or coverage of analyses to keep up with changes in the oil market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and communication skills are essential.
- High proficiency in Excel is mandatory as analyses revolve around it.
- Proficiency in programming languages/automation/analytics tools is an added advantage.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team is necessary.
- Passion for oil markets with a willingness to learn is key.
