Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Manager to join our team at THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum for Primary English language education, ensuring alignment with MOE guidelines and delivering a high-quality learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development
    • Design and implement a curriculum framework for Primary English language education, ensuring it meets MOE guidelines and delivers a fun, challenging, and effective learning experience.
    • Clearly articulate the differentiating factors of the curriculum and communicate them through materials and lesson delivery.
    • Provide leadership in curriculum planning, design, research, and innovation.
    • Stay current with curricular trends and ensure changes in MOE guidelines are promptly integrated into the curriculum.
  • Team Leadership
    • Identify and lead a team of writers to assist in curriculum development, responsible for training and development of writers, and ensuring submission deadlines are met.
    • Review and identify learning gaps in students' learning and develop effective and innovative programs to bridge the gaps.
    • Actively scan the internal and external market and develop programs to provide growth opportunities in expanding student population.
  • Teaching and Classroom Management
    • Deliver quality lessons of up to 5-7 classes per week, displaying strong classroom delivery skills through thorough lesson planning.
    • Effectively utilize teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
    • Mark and grade students' assignments with value-added feedback and ensure they are returned to students by the next lesson.
  • Requirements
    • Degree in English Language, English Language Literature, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of work experience in curriculum planning, development, training, and teaching English language and creative writing in an enrichment industry in Singapore.
    • Minimum 2 years of work experience in managing a curriculum team.
    • Proficiency in designing various types of assessments, including formative, summative, performance-based, and portfolio assessments.
    • Familiar with the primary English language subject with MOE syllabus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiar with other software like Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
