  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive long distances to deliver goods to various destinations while maintaining a safe and efficient journey.
  • Ensure the secure transportation of goods between distribution centers and customers.
  • Report any road incidents or accidents to the dispatcher and adhere to established procedures for handling such situations.
  • Keep accurate records of activities and hours worked, as well as report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Requirements:
  • A valid Class 4 driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of experience as an HGV operator and have strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, including public holidays, and be available for 24-hour call-outs.
  • Must be able to lift and carry cargo weighing up to 50Kg and communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
