Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Virtual Infrastructure Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).

Main Responsibilities:

  • High-level system operation and resource utilization optimization.
  • System capacity analysis and planning.
  • Firmware updates and device profile deployment to Zero Client devices.
  • Maintenance of fully patched/updated/mitigated Operating System image for testing and production.
  • Assistance with VDI system operations for customers.
  • Collaboration with Systems Administrators for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Direct work with VMware VCenter Server/ESXi Hosts, VMWare Horizon View Administrator, and virtual client pools management.
  • ESXi host device patching and remediation.
  • Compilation of VDI Operating System image for testing and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in VDI managed services, Windows/Linux OS, remote desktop services, storage management, DR testing/planning, network circuit management, load balancer configuration.
  • Skills: Managed Services, Troubleshooting, Azure, VMware vCenter, VMware, Virtual Machine, VMware vSphere, Firmware, VDI.
