Captain - Restaurant Floor Lead

About the Role:

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Captain to lead a team of service staff and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow, and maintaining high standards of quality control.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will be able to multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues alike. The Captain will also be responsible for guiding junior staff members, providing on-the-job training, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service flow
  • Lead a section of the restaurant floor and maintain high standards of service
  • Guiding and supporting junior service staff
  • Handle guest requests and minor complaints professionally
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Captain or similar role in a busy restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
