Marketing Innovation Manager

We are seeking a Marketing Innovation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative marketing strategies for core brands in the APAC Markets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with experience in project management and team leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to advance innovation projects through the Gate process, advocating the use of Project Management Tool (Accolade).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing consumer-led and insight-driven innovation projects geared towards building a robust pipeline of innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal resources and stakeholders to discover and validate trial barriers, and to initiate innovation projects that will effectively address these.
  • Leading multi-functional teams to advance innovation projects through the Gate process, and to ensure that projects are at a launch readiness state based on agreed launch timelines in the key markets.

You will also be responsible for presenting Gate documents and leading discussions on innovation projects during Sales & Marketing / Integrated Business Management meetings. Your goal will be to drive decisions on innovation projects based on recommended actions, and to ensure that presentations and reports are clear and provided to all stakeholders in a timely and actionable manner.

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual who can find innovative solutions outside of scope. You should have strong analytical skills to sort through complex data, make well-reasoned conclusions, and translate these into sound plans. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, and at least 1-2 years working experience in marketing departments (preferably in innovations) of international Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is necessary. Strong project management skills, with prioritization and ability to work under pressure with sizeable workloads and tight deadlines, are essential.
