Electrical and Electronic Engineering Lecturer

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Electrical and Electronic Engineering Lecturer to join our team at Republic Polytechnic. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the areas of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, including curriculum development, lesson delivery, and student supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and lessons in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Supervise students' final year projects and internships
  • Conduct Continuing Education and Training (CET) for Specialist Diploma and Part-time Diploma
  • Mentor and motivate students in their learning journey
  • Participate in academic research projects, R&D/Implementation projects, or consultancy to the industry
  • Undertake other administrative work related to the programme and student development activities
Requirements:
  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline
  • Relevant industry experience in the electronics sector and cleanroom environment
  • Proficient in developing curriculum and delivering lessons related to Integrated Analog and Digital Circuit Design, Semiconductor Fabrication, Process and Characterisation, and other Engineering discipline modules
  • Experience in few of the domain areas: Semiconductor process and Characterisation, Embedded Systems and Connectivity, Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality (AR, VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics & Automation, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)
  • Preferably equip with experience on using Minitab, Cadence, Arduino, C/C++, LabVIEW, Matlab, Python, or Raspberry Pi
  • Genuine passion to share knowledge and interact with youths, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
