Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Protection Lead. This position is responsible for ensuring that our organisation processes personal data in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT staff, recruiting, training, and coaching employees. They will also be expected to keep up-to-date on changes in GDPR and data protection-related policies, implementing any necessary changes as required.

In addition, the Data Protection Lead will foster a security-aware culture within the company, maintaining our data protection policy in line with GDPR and relevant country data protection regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, audit, and compliance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a DPO or similar role. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Audit and Compliance, Data Protection, or Risk Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a DPO, compliance, audit, or risk management role
  • Audit experience and DPO certification preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
