Event Planning Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Event Planning Specialist to assist our Senior Events Manager in the planning and execution of events. Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate event logistics, ensuring seamless execution from planning to delivery.
  • Draft high-quality reports, letters, speeches, and memos that align with organizational goals.
  • Create engaging design and multimedia files to promote our events and enhance their appeal.
  • Brainstorm innovative ideas to enhance existing events and propose new concepts for consideration.
  • Promote arts and culture through various channels, including social media and event marketing.
  • Update our events website, social media accounts, and calendar to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Research emerging artists and potential talent, providing recommendations for future events.
  • Manage publicity and coordinate meetings with stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare presentation materials and take meeting minutes to ensure accurate records.
  • Proofread reports and documents for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in artwork rotation, inventory management, and record-keeping to maintain organization and efficiency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in arts, design, public relations, management, mass communication, marketing, or equivalent. Preferred candidates will have at least 1-2 years' experience in project or event management, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with social media platforms.Key Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in bilingual language (English & Chinese), good organizing skills, and a proactive attitude. They should also be able to manage competing priorities, work under tight deadlines, and possess a mature personality with excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.

Salary is commensurate with relevant experience and educational qualifications.
