AV Systems Technician
A leading organization seeks an experienced and skilled AV systems technician to join their team. As an AV systems technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating audio visual systems and equipment. Your expertise in troubleshooting and performing maintenance tasks will ensure the smooth operation of our events.

About the Role:
  • Set up and operate PA, AV, and VC systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate event schedules and participate in the setup and operation of events.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant environment in the AV storage area.
  • Liaise with contractors for repairs when necessary.
  • Conduct routine checks on AV and VC systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Respond to requests, queries, and complaints related to AV and VC systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical advice and operational support for audio visual requirements.
  • Investigate faults and recommend repairs, then promptly rectify them.
  • Collaborate with event organizers on logistics and event setup requirements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Nitec or Higher Nitec qualification in Electrical, Communication, or Electronics Engineering is required.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the relevant field is necessary.
  • Strong communication and written skills are essential.
  • Good exposure to large-scale events, hotel, or exhibition experience is beneficial.
