
Ambulance Operations Manager

This role plays a vital part in our Emergency and Medical Transport team.
As a Critical Care Transport Specialist, you will operate ambulances to transport patients safely and efficiently.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing scheduled patient transfers, hospital discharges, and emergency cases.
- Driving ambulances to transport patients to medical appointments, hospitals, and healthcare facilities.
- Assisting medical personnel with patient transfers, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance of the ambulance.
- Adhering to traffic laws, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of trips, patient information, and relevant data.
- Providing patient support during transport, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Participating in training sessions to enhance skills, including defensive driving and medical assistance.

As a Critical Care Transport Specialist, you can look forward to the following growth pathways:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid Class 3 driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Previous experience in defensive driving is highly preferred.
- Certification or experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is advantageous.
- Physical fitness and ability to assist with patient transfers.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
