Xora Innovation is a venture capital firm that invests in disruptive, world-changing ventures. We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Finance Manager who will play a key role in managing our day-to-day finance and accounting requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management, financial processes, and business analytics. They will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing regulatory reporting, and collaborating with external vendors and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and FP&A:
    • Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and Hyperion reports
    • Manage regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with local filing requirements
    • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure timely and accurate accounts, payment, and reporting
  • Portfolio Companies:
    • Support portfolio monitoring and reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investment reports
    • Monitor and analyze portfolios' financial metrics to identify potential impact to the investments and forecasts
Requirements
  • A degree in accountancy from an accredited university
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in Big 4 audit firms, fund administration, or in-house PE/VC
  • Expertise in accounting with a thorough understanding and application of the FRS, especially in financial instruments, consolidation, and investment entities
  • Strong acumen in financial management, financial processes, and business analytics
  • Technology-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly analytical with a strong problem-solving approach, resourceful, and organized to support and enable efficient and effective decision-making amongst stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, partnering, and relationship-building skills with a proven ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a wide range of internal and external partners, including our portfolio companies
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Well-organized and able to multi-task with a positive attitude towards learning new skills
  • Strong attention to deadlines with the capability to complete assigned tasks accurately and independently
