Senior Microbiology Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microbiology Analyst to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Microbiology Analyst to take on a key leadership role within our laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and performing method development and validation, reviewing and interpreting analytical results, and acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to liaise with customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, validate, and implement new methods and protocols in accordance with ISO 17025 and cGMP standards.
- Review and interpret analytical results for client projects, providing accurate and timely reports.
- Liaise with customers, including site visits, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, investigations, and improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Mentor technical staff and assist the Laboratory Manager in achieving departmental goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in QC microbiology in an ISO 17025/cGMP accredited laboratory.
- Experience in method validation and implementation, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards.
