Job Title: Senior Engineer/Deputy Principal Engineer

This role is part of a dynamic team responsible for the regulation and management of waste collection, disposal facilities, and Extended Producer Responsibility schemes. Key responsibilities include reviewing global and local landscapes for sustainable e-waste strategies, developing and implementing plans for key waste streams, and working with other departments to support national efforts on circular economy, resource optimisation, and recycling.

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental engineering or equivalent field. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in solid waste management/sustainability/auditing and be passionate about environmental protection. Key skills required include strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as good attention to detail.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to achieve Singapore's vision of becoming a Zero Waste Nation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of e-waste management strategies and initiatives, including those under the Zero Waste Masterplan.
