Mechanical Specialist

Our company seeks an accomplished Mechanical Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

This is a dynamic role that requires strong mechanical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment, machinery, and operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, machinery, and operating systems to identify and correct issues.
  • Maintain high standards in mechanical operations to ensure systems meet operational and safety requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and other related equipment.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to junior technicians when necessary.
  • Perform both independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to industry standards and protocols.
Technical Skills:
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment for daily tasks.
  • Perform welding using cutting torches as needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Operate and maintain heavy industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and bobcats.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
