Automation and Robotics Specialist

The role of this position is to design, develop and implement various automation and robotics systems. This includes designing and developing customized semi and fully automatic machines to improve labor productivity, process efficiency, quality, safety and overcoming technical challenges.

Key responsibilities include:
• Developing concept, design, test, debug and commissioning customized machines
• Setting up and troubleshooting robotic and automate equipment
• Writing HMI and PLC programming
• Driving process assessments for robotics process automation/automation opportunities

Requirements include a Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or related discipline, at least 3 years' experience in development of robotics with vision automated application systems, and strong analytical skills. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently are also required.

The ideal candidate has proven technical experience in setting-up and troubleshooting Robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka or UR), as well as knowledge of mechanical and electrical design. Experience with image processing and integrating commercially available machine vision packages applications would be an advantage.
