Procurement excellence drives business growth through strategic sourcing, effective contract management and supplier relationship development.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing end-to-end tendering processes, providing procurement guidance to business units and driving procurement excellence through policy enhancement, digital transformation and capability-building initiatives. This includes conducting market research, analyzing data and trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Analyze data and trends to inform procurement decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure best value for the organization.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as procurement, supply chain management or business administration.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement, with a strong track record of delivering results-oriented solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
