System Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Operations Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general administration tasks to ensure the smooth operation of customer systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage computer systems, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements to existing systems.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a System Administrator or in a related profession.
  • Proficient with system monitoring, configuration, network systems, and system backup processes.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware installation and deployment.
  • Excellent knowledge of MSCE, Unix, Redhat, SQL, Cisco Networking, SAN Storage, VMware, Firewall, Tivoli, and Solarwinds is advantageous.

Working Schedule:

This is a 2-year agency contract position. The working schedule includes 12-hr shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
