Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to assist our teaching staff in the kitchen. As a Nutrition & Food Science Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in maintaining cleanliness of kitchens and kitchen utensils.
  • Prepare ingredients and kitchen equipment for students' cooking lessons and workshops during curriculum hours.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of kitchen equipment and the workplace.
  • Conduct regular stock-taking of all perishable ingredients and equipment.
  • Ensure accountability and safe handling of sharp tools and confirm that electrical equipment is in good working condition.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • No formal education required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a school setting is an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
  • No work on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Contract Duration: Immediate start to December 2025
