Junior Fund Accountant

Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day fund accounting operations and delivery of Net-Asset-Value packs and reports to fund managers and investors.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and time management skills. They will also have good knowledge of financial markets and financial products, as well as a solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.

You will work closely with our Operations Manager to support investor relations, fund accounting, and portfolio reporting activities. This includes assisting with fund accounting entries of trades and cash transactions into fund accounting systems in compliance with accounting standards, performing portfolio reconciliation with external parties, and supporting NAV financial closing and delivery of NAV packs and reports to fund managers and investors.

The successful candidate will also support multiple asset classes and funds including both liquid and non-liquid strategies, and support fund setup process and various fund structures. Additionally, they will support in designing and implementing fund administration process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and resiliency, and liaise with auditors to support annual audits for fund clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support investor relations, fund accounting, and portfolio reporting activities">
• Assist with fund accounting entries of trades and cash transactions into fund accounting systems in compliance with accounting standards">
• Perform portfolio reconciliation with external parties">
• SUPPORT NAV financial closing and ensure delivery of NAV packs and reports to fund managers and investors">
• SUPPORT multiple asset classes and funds including both liquid and non-liquid strategies">
• SUPPORT fund setup process and various fund structures">
• SUPPORT in designing and implementing fund administration process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and resiliency">
• Liaise with auditors to support annual audits for fund clients">
• SUPPORT fund related queries from fund managers">
