We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Merchandising Coordinator. The ideal candidate will support store openings, renovations, and closures by executing merchandising and fixture setup tasks according to plan.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Setting up merchandise displays, fixtures, and planograms during store openings, renovations, or closures.
- Unpacking, sorting, and organizing inventory on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
- Ensuring products are tagged, aligned, front-faced with respective point-of-sale materials as per the planogram.
- Completing goods returns after setup.
- Working closely with the Setup Team Lead to complete tasks within tight deadlines.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store during setup.
- Supporting the removal of merchandise and fixtures during store closures.
- Adhering to safety and operational guidelines during physical setup work.
- Being flexible to support setup needs across various store locations.
To succeed in this role, candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks such as lifting, stocking, and moving fixtures. They must also be able to commit to shift work, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as required. Additionally, reliable punctuality and efficient working under tight deadlines are essential requirements.
Candidates with prior experience in retail setup or merchandising are an advantage but not required. Strong teamwork and communication skills are also necessary for success in this role.
