Senior Operational Risk Professional

This pivotal role is focused on overseeing and managing all aspects of Operational Risk across the APAC region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously improving risk processes, owning risk registers, managing risk assessments, and advising the business on decisions in relation to the operating environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating risk and control assessments to identify potential risks and implement effective controls
- Conducting root cause analysis of operational events and developing strategies to mitigate future risks
- Preparing and presenting detailed risk reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders
Required skills and qualifications include:
- 6+ years of operational risk management experience, with a focus on enterprise risk management and related concepts
- Practical experience with Basel, COSO, ERM, risk and control self-assessment tools, methodologies, and concepts
- Strong technical risk and control knowledge, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
