You will work collaboratively with a team of experts to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with complex energy projects.Achieving Results:You will be responsible for performing high-quality analyses and studies, including quantitative risk analysis (QRA), risk calculations, safety assessments, cost/benefit analyses, and other related tasks. Your expertise will be invaluable in reviewing safety studies developed by third parties, participating in safety workshops, and innovating design solutions to reduce risks and improve performance.Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Support safety and risk projects involving risk analysis, modeling, calculations, and other studies.
  • Perform high-quality, technically sound analyses and studies, including but not limited to QRA, risk calculations, safety assessments, cost/benefit analyses, and other studies.
  • Review safety studies developed by third parties.
  • Participate in safety workshops (HAZIDS, HAZOPS, ALARP).
  • Innovate and develop design solutions to reduce risks, improve performance, and enhance safety in operations.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Technical Safety/Process Safety/Safety Engineering, with projects under various local, regional, and national regulatory standards.
  • Experience working with advisory/consulting firms, with demonstrated capability to manage a team and grow the business is an advantage.
  • Professional memberships (IChemE, AIChE) and functional and process safety certifications (TUV, CFSP/CFSE, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
