Job Summary

This role is ideal for an individual with experience in facility maintenance, electrical and mechanical work, and a strong understanding of large-scale facility electrical infrastructure systems.

To succeed in this position, you will need to be able to support senior management and engineering teams, liaise with customers' engineering departments, review site events and implement remedial actions, manage contractors' work on site, and participate in planning and execution of daily work including weekly/monthly report submission.

The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualifications and experience. Candidates with relevant experience but without formal qualifications may also be considered. Additionally, experience working in data centre facilities would be advantageous.

We are looking for a team player who can work collaboratively with others, possess good practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical work, and have strong written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Manager and Senior Engineer in Facility Maintenance work.
  • Liaise with customer's engineering department to ensure company procedures and quality guidelines are followed.
  • Review 'Events and Actions' on site and implement remedial actions where needed.
  • Manage contractors' work on site to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Be involved in planning, execution, and updates for all daily work including weekly/monthly report submission.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Candidates with ITE qualification and relevant years of experience will be considered)
  • Candidates with engineering education but no work experience can be considered and training will be provided.
  • Experience in Data Centre facility an advantage.
  • Able to work on after-office hours when required.
  • Possess good practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical work.
  • Possess strong understanding of large-scale facility electrical infrastructure system.
  • Good written and oral communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work efficiently, and good team orientation.
