Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

Leads a team of electrical engineers and technicians in executing complex electrical work during the construction phase. This includes cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination, and testing/commissioning for medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) switchgear, transformers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), distributed control systems (DCIS)/human-machine interface (HMI), etc.

Ensures compliance with design documents by monitoring and inspecting construction activities. Manages a team consisting of supervisors, sub-contractors, and vendors.

Responsible for electrical interfaces with operational teams, conducts meetings, and provides technical clarifications to resolve issues promptly.

Analyzes and enhances equipment reliability to prevent recurrence, collaborating with operation groups and external contractors.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare documentation for maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety standards, utilizing appropriate Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems, equipment, and rooms align with internal customers' needs.
  • Review inspection and testing plans for electrical and instrument system installations through relevant checklists.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth completion of projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DCIS/HMI.
  • Ability to analyze and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management.
