About the Role

As a Product Management Intern at PRISM+, you will play a vital role in supporting the product management team in various aspects of product development, research, and market analysis. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment and learn about hardware commercialization and development.

Key Responsibilities

Market and Product Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities, and analyze the competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  • Develop and maintain product requirements based on research findings and stakeholder inputs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Product Testing and Validation:

  • Assist in product testing and validation to ensure quality and performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document and report any issues or bugs to the development team for resolution, and support the creation of test plans and test cases.

Supporting Collateral Creation:

  • Develop and maintain product manuals, user guides, and compatibility charts, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials.

Marketing Content and Collaterals:

  • Support the marketing team in creating engaging content for product promotions, and assist in developing marketing collaterals such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.

In-Market Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of products in the market, and collect and interpret customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on product performance, market trends, and competitive analysis, and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in product management, market research, and marketing, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
