Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Trainee Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily preparation of food items at our designated station.

The Trainee Baker will prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. They will follow recipes and presentation specifications set by our Head Chef, restock items as needed throughout their shift, and maintain their station for food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation.

In addition, the Trainee Baker will understand and know the proper usage of all equipment in their station, weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough, shape dough to prepare different types of pastries, and perform ad hoc duties assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Restock items as needed
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Min. Primary Certificate in Basic Food & Beverage preparation, SFA's Food Hygiene Certificate, and have kitchen experience. A passion for bakery goods is also essential.

This is a part-time position available for 4-5 days per week, with a competitive hourly rate of $12.50.
